BR 2-01: The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe (Punter, 2008)

"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children... she didn't know what to do." ([Punter, 2008,] p.2)

An old woman lived in a shoe. She had a lot of children and she lived with them in the shoe. All the Children were pretty vigorous and lively. She thought that the shoe was full, and she thought she had to find new shoes in order to live with all the children. The old woman went to shoe stores to find new shoes, but they had only too tiny and too small shoes. She reconciled and went to the way to her shoe that she lived in, she met a giant man.
***
This story is so interesting. It is good idea that people live in a shoe! It is the reasons why I chose this book.

The old woman  went to shoe stores to buy a new one in order to live in, but there were no big shoe enough to live... I have questions. Why did she live in a shoe? Then, How did she find the big shoe to live in? That's pretty strange, isn't it? Then... Why did she have so many children?? These are my questions.

This is good book, but very short story. Then I could read it easily.

Typing#3: How I study during the vacation

I could good study English during this summer vacation because I went to America for 4 weeks as course. I did not do so many writing practice but I could do listening and speaking practice there. I spoke and listened to English every day and every time(but when I talked to my friends, I spoke Japanese). It is strange surrounding for me. Then, I was so confused but so interesting. I did not like speaking English and practicing to speak English, but in the surrounding, I could enjoy practicing to speak English. Usually I do not practice listening to English, but every day I listen or hearing English in America. Then I become little better listening to English before this summer vacation.

Reflections on Writing III

I thought writing III was hard for me because I had to write over 10,000 words in English while spring semester. I am not good at writing in English, and I also do not like to write in English. I am not good at writing in Japanese, much less in English!! Then I was exhausted from by the class. We had to do book reviews, typing speed homework and long essays. I fell into a light depression. I thought many times that it would not finish writing over 10,000 words. The results, I could finish writing over 10,000 words, but I was pretty tired. I do not want to do it again, but I have to write over 15,000 words while this semester. I am so sad, and I think I will go mad.
