Class Works

I have learned a lot of phrases in book reviews. I just read easy to read books, but they have a lot of good phrases in them. I enjoyed reading books because I could read them afresh. Some stories that I had know before I read books again, I did not remember little scene. Then it was good study for me to learn English sentence phrases.

Then I could learn writing a lot of words, sentences and paragraphs. I do not like and I am not good at writing a lot. I just write a few sentences every time when I write something; for example diary. Then essay prep. helped me to add to sentences in every essays. Mind-map also helped me thinking to write for essays. I wrote a lot of words through them.

Presentations, it was my first experience that I made a presentation in Google Docs. I thought Google Docs. is useful because we do not have to have files in our USB. We can have it on the internet. I confused when I started to make a presentation because I did not know how to use it. However I could finish to make it and posted my blog.

Comments on classmate' and peer's posts, they were not like my sentences, of course. So I felt fresh when I read my classmates' comments, essays and other kinds of them posts. Then I enjoyed reading my classmates' posts. It was pretty funny for me.

I could learn a lot of things in this class. I think that I can train reading and writing skills in this class especially. Reading and writing are not good at skills in English. I am so poor about these 2 kinds work. However I can progress a little, I think. It was pretty difficult to do them.

BR 2-09: Cinderella (Davidson, 2004)

"There's just one problem," said Felicity. "You must leave before twelve. One the last stroke of midnight, my magic will begin to fade." (p.28)

There was a poor girl, and her name is Cinderella. She has been worked very hard by stepmother and stepsisters. One day, stepsisters and stepmother were invited a Christmas Ball, but stepmother didn't allow Cinderella to go to the Christmas Ball. They have gone to the Christmas Ball. Cinderella was crying, and her grandmother appeared as a fairy. She had Cinderella bringing a big pumpkin, six mice, a rat and six lizards, and she changed the big pumpkin into a beautiful golden coach, six mice into white horses, the rat into a coachman, and lizards into footman. Her grandmother changed Cinderella's rags into a dazzling dress of gold and silver, and glass slippers were on her feet. Is she for the Ball in time? Does she marry the prince? I thought that we shouldn't do things that people hate, and the stepmother had to treated her children and Cinderella impartially. I also thought that Cinderella's father had to protect Cinderella from stepmother and stepsisters. Why did her grandmother appear the timing? Why didn't her magic keep before 12 o'clock? Why was the coach made of a pumpkin? I had some questions, and I was surprised that I heard that there are over 700 versions of Cinderella.

BR 2-07: Hansel & Gretel (Daynes, 2005)

At noon, they finally staggered into a clearing. There, in the distance, stood a little house. "Let's see if anyone's in," said Gretel. "They might give us some food." (p.29)

I think that this book is one of the most popular stories around the world. Hanl and Gretel were taken into the forests by their stepmother because of poorness. Hansel left clumbled bread along the way to go back to their house. However, birds ate the crumbs. They walked in the forests. They had no choice, but they found a house which made of chocolate, chunks of cakes, gingerbread ad so on....
